Lindsay Rockwell
poet. oncologist.
“So let us pick up the stones over which we stumble, friends, and build altars. Let us listen to the sound of breath in our bodies, let us listen to the sounds of our own voices.”
Welcome! I love that you’re here.
Lindsay Rockwell is a poet whose work as a former oncologist informs her poetry as well as her interest in exploring the nuanced depth of communication and connection. It is with this lens she aspires to build and support generative community through the healing and transformative power of poetry.
“Lindsay Rockwell does not just write poetry, she creates environments. As she writes, “worlds are being born.” Her use of sound and inventive language infuses her lines with a wild lusciousness of emotion. These are poems not to grasp with the intellect as much as to enter “like a bowl of sky.”
